How Long do lithium ion motorcycle batteries last? At minimum lithium ion batteries last 5 years or 2,000 charging cycles but if well cared for they can last as long as 3,000 cycles.
Do you need a special charger for a lithium motorcycle battery? You will need a battery charger specifically designed to charge lithium ion batteries. The Battery Tender Junior 800 is a new product capable of charging a lithium battery or traditional batteries.
Can I put a lithium ion battery in my motorcycle? All motorcycles built since 1980 are capable of accepting a lithium battery. The charging system on your motorcycle must charge between 13.4 and 14.6 volts.
