Belt-to-Chain Conversion Kit with Chain

For 1987-2006 Harley Softail Models

Features:

• This conversion kit includes everything needed to convert a 1987-2006 5-speed Softail belt drive system to a heavy duty 530 chain drive.
• Stock ratio is achieved with the included 22 tooth Front and 48 tooth Rear sprocket.
• This kit is designed for use with a stock size rear tire.
• Use existing pulley spacer behind the transmission 22 tooth sprocket.
• CHAIN WILL NEED TO BE CUT TO SIZE: Kit includes a 120-link heavy duty 530 chain, chain breaker & master link.
• When using a 22 tooth front sprocket: 48 tooth rear sprocket = stock belt drive ratio, 49 tooth rear sprocket = 4% deeper (faster acceleration) and 51 tooth rear sprocket = 6% deeper.

NOTE: These are made for use in a stock frame or a frame or hardtail which uses stock spacing (such as hardtails which use the stock rear wheel assembly, brake, and axle spacers). If the frame you are using is a different axle plate spacing (width) or you are using a non-stock wheel this may affect the rear sprocket alignment. This is for use with a stock width wheel, and is not for a wide tire conversion.

NOTE: Remember a larger sprocket on rear means more torque (geared down) and a larger front sprocket means higher gears, more top end.

NOTE: Because of tight clearance when using stock muffler mount or stock passenger peg mounts do not use an O-ring chain because the additional width may cause chain to wear at these components on deceleration.
